Description
The Bear Island lighthouse is located on (yep, you guessed it) Bear Island. Which is one of the Cranberry Isles located at the entrance to Somes Sound in Maine. It's on Acadia National Park land but the lighthouse itself is closed to the public. But as you can see, the best view of it is from the water.
Here, the lighthouse and the cliff it stands on it bathes in the soft, warm glow of a Spring sunset.
