Description

This iconic fountain is located in Forsyth Park in the historic area of Savannah, GA. It's one of the most photographed spots in the city (guilty) and the site of weddings, proposals and various photo shoots.

The fountain was erected in 1858, so like the rest of Savannah, it was spared destruction during the Civil War.

Interestingly, the fountain was ordered from a catalog. Other pla ces this fountain can be found include New York and France.
