Description
A quiet(er) side of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, away from the crowds in the Piazza del Duomo and the Duomo di Milano, one of the largest cathedrals in the world.
This is Via Tommaso Grossi and is on the east side of the Galleria. I'm not sure if it's always like this here, but at least the day I visited it was a serene scene. Not the normal Milan downtown area.
The building with the arch is the Galleria, Italy's oldest active shopping gallery.
