A view of life along the Via Roma in Monterosso al Mare, the northernmost village of the Cinque Terre (Five Lands).
The Cinque Terre are five villages along the northwest coast of Italy in the region of Liguria, province of La Spezia. The villages are highly picturesque, often photographed and/or painted because of their locale. They are compactly built right on the sides of the mountains as the mountains meet the sea.
