Artist's Description
Natural Falls, located in eastern Oklahoma.
This waterfall is located not too far from where I live. It's in Natural Falls State Park and has nice trails to hike and of course, this wonderful waterfall.
I've painted this before, though from different visits. This visit was in 2019 in the fall. Some of the leaves on the trees were orange at the top of the falls. The previous painting was based on an image during the Spring maybe 8 or so years ago.
My style has changed some since then. Is it better? Worse? Or just different? Certainly different. I would like to think I've developed (or developing) my own style. Time will tell.

Self taught, I use the computer to paint. I've always been interested in computers since I first worked on one way back in high school. And I've always had an appreciation for art, as my mother is an accomplished painter. Merging the two, what you see are the results. Digital work that looks (hopefully!) like a traditional painting. My paintings are mostly places I've been, preserving the memory and sharing them with the world. I love to travel, seeing and experiencing new things. Painting the things I see reflect the wonder I had when I first saw them. I hope that when people see my works, they think the subject matter is interesting, whether or not they like the painting.
