Description
This is the view standing atop the Escalier casse-cou (Breakneck Steps) in Quebec City. Down below you see the narrow Rue du Petit-Champlain lined with stores, restaurants and such. Nightlife in summer.
These steps were originally built in 1635. Well maintained though, but still, very steep.
The person dressed in red interested me. I have no idea who they are or why they're dressed like that, but I do love the bit of red they added to the image. My first thought was "British Redcoat" but I someone can't imagine that to be correct
