Artist's Description

One of the most iconic views in the entire world, Monument Valley, is located on the Navajo Reservation in northeast Arizona. This view, as seen in the movie Forrest Gump, is from Utah, just north of the state line.

If you look at Google maps, there is a Forrest Gump Point, which is somewhat where we stood to take pictures. If you ever go there, be forewarned that there may be tons of people also wanting the exact same picture making silly poses and such.

Self taught, I use the computer to paint. I've always been interested in computers since I first worked on one way back in high school. And I've always had an appreciation for art, as my mother is an accomplished painter. Merging the two, what you see are the results. Digital work that looks (hopefully!) like a traditional painting.
