Artist's Description
A view from under Mesa Arch early on a Winter's morning. Mesa Arch is on the Island in the Sky mesa found in Canyonlands National Park. It's on the edge of the mesa on a cliff that drops off significantly on the other side.
This and Arches National Park are near Moab, Utah. For some reason, I just thought that the arches were in Arches, but in actuality, the are all over the area. Some in parks (Arches, Canyonlands) and some just scattered about outside these parks.
The winter sun lights up the underside of the arch and the canyon walls. Off in the distance you can see the Colorado River and La Sal Mountains, along with various rock and land formations.

Oh..and I paint flowers too, among other...
