Artist's Description

The idea came from looking out a "window" from the fortified walls of the Cetatuia Monastery in Iasi Romania. While this view now consists of parking lots, electric and telephone poles with the lines that go with them. etc., I tried to imagine what it would be like without all those modern additions, and as it may have been when the monastery was constructed around 1670.

Self taught, I use the computer to paint. I've always been interested in computers since I first worked on one way back in high school. And I've always had an appreciation for art, as my mother is an accomplished painter. Merging the two, what you see are the results. Digital work that looks (hopefully!) like a traditional painting.
